PTFE Tri-Clamp Gasket

$2.79

Description

Maximum Chemical Resistance. Built for High-Purity Applications. PTFE Tri-Clamp® Gaskets are the industry standard for chemically aggressive and high-temperature processes where purity and inert performance are critical. Constructed from virgin PTFE, these gaskets offer exceptional resistance to solvents, hydrocarbons, and process fluids with virtually no extractables—making them ideal for demanding extraction environments.

Where This Gasket Excels

Extreme Chemical Compatibility. Handles hydrocarbons, ethanol, and aggressive solvents without degradation.

High Temperature Performance
Operating range from -100°F to 500°F

Ultra-Low Extractables
Maintains product purity with minimal absorption or contamination risk

Long Service Life
Performs reliably in steam, water, and continuous processing environments

Important Application Notes (Read This)
This is a rigid gasket with no elastomer memory.

Not recommended for systems with frequent temperature cycling

Not ideal where seal recovery or flexibility is required

Not suitable for misaligned ferrules

If your system has:

Temperature fluctuation

Clamp inconsistency

Slight misalignment

Upgrade to a PTFE / elastomer hybrid (Tuf-Flex® / envelope style) for a more forgiving seal.
For best performance, use high-pressure clamps to maintain proper compression.

Solvent Direct Standard
We don’t recommend PTFE for every application—and that’s the difference.
If your system is stable, aligned, and properly clamped, this is one of the cleanest, most chemically resistant gasket solutions available.
If not, we will point you to a better solution.
