Refund policy

FEES & POLICIES

Fleet delivery fees are typically $100 for every hour of travel to a customer location. There is no return fee.

Orders received after 3pm one day prior require $250 RUSH FEE for same or next day delivery. Rush orders are based on availability only. 

Holdover Fee - ​30 minute grace period included for driver at delivery site. There is a fee of $100 per 30 minutes​​ thereafter or reschedule fee of $100

Online orders for items requiring deposits will be collected after checkout. You will be contacted by a Solvent Direct sales representative who will provide the total cost. Please refer to the sections below for gas cylinder tanks, and dry ice bins for deposit information.

DRY ICE ORDERING

Dry ice sublimates at a rate of 3-6% per day and we do our best to deliver the freshest dry ice at the lowest prices possible. For this reason, dry ice production varies by region. 

Dry Ice orders must be received by 3pm 1 business day prior to the desired delivery date. 

All dry ice bins require a $600 Fee upon delivery of the first bin.

All bins must be returned to Solvent Direct and Solvent Direct will not accept any bins or containers not provided by Solvent Direct. After 10 days dry ice bins will accrue rent of $7 per day. 

Deposit returns take 2 weeks to complete from date received and return payment will be processed through check.​

 

COMPRESSED GAS, DEWARS & CYLINDERS

Nitrogen, Compressed Nitrogen, Liquid Nitrogen Dewars and CO2 require varying lead times per region. Please contact your supply specialist for more details.

All LP cylinders require a $200  fee upon delivery.

All dewars require a $2000 fee upon delivery.

All cylinders must be returned to Solvent Direct. Solvent Direct will not accept any cylinders or containers not provided by Solvent Direct. After 10 days Compressed Gas Cylinders will accrue rent of $7 per day. 

 

PREPAID DEPOSITS

When prepaying for a product or making an advance payment in order to lock fixed pricing, deposit is non-refundable.

 

LPG CYLINDER Fee RETURNS AND INSPECTION POLICIES

Fee's for Solvent Direct cylinders are $200 for LP239 and $150 for LP5 cylinders.​​​

Acceptance of owned cylinders are at management's discretion and require 14 day hold for cylinder inspection and camera scoping. Please mark down your cylinder serial numbers for your records.

 

CANCELLATION & RE-DELIVERY FEES

Cancellations must be received within 24 hours of delivery day or a $150 cancellation fee will be assessed in addition to your regular delivery fee.

$150 Re-delivery fee may be applied for missed or cancelled deliveries. 

Online orders must be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase or before the order ships. Cancellation for orders in transit will be processed once the shipment is returned. If the order has been delivered it will fall into the conditions for a return and will be subject to a restocking fee. You may choose to refuse the package to avoid cost in shipping back to Solvent Direct. All return shipment cost, insurance, and proof of delivery are the sole responsibility of the customer. 

 

RESTOCKING FEE

​Any unopened, sealed, non-perishable item return requests must be made in writing to the account manager and are subject to a 30% restocking fee.

Pending approval of the account manager and further inspection by quality control. Management reserves the right to deny returns for any reason to maintain quality control. Common reasons for denial are condition of product, expiration date of product, temperature of storage and/or consistency of product.

Deposit returns take 2 weeks to complete from the date of management approval
