Carbon Chemistry Silica Gel 60A
Description
Silica Gel is used to help remove polar impurities and colors, oftentimes in Color Remediation Columns.
Carbon Chemistry's Silica Gel 60A is an insoluble silicon dioxide formed from sodium silicate. The granular, porous solid occurs naturally in minerals and comes in a fine powder. The powder creates a slurry when mixed with solvent that helps filter unwanted materials for improved product quality. Silica Gel 60A is used during the stationary phase of Column Chromatography to improve color and separate unwanted compounds from the product.
